Gardening

The weekend before the weekend before we left on vacation, Dusten and I spent Sunday afternoon digging up the garden. We really like to garden the current problems are that 1) we don't have time to weed and pick as is necessary and 2) I don't eat most of the veggies that grow in a garden like ours. But I do eat carrots.. and like a rabbit I would say. In case you are wondering I still have horrible eyesight. We planted carrots for the first time this year, and the results were interesting. Apparrantly you are supposed to like weed out half of the carrots half way through the summer so that the others have time to grow. We didn't do that (see number 1 above). But we still had lots of good carrots. So many in fact, that most of them ended up rotting before I could get them peeled (see number 1 above). But the ones that did survive were very scrumptious, and I made one of our favorite meals:The garden after our tirade...

We had lots of tomatos too..
