Easter

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. D and I went to Terre Haute for the weekend. We left on Saturday afternoon, and hung out with the fam. Gerrit's birthday was on Easter Sunday, so on Saturday night, we went out for dinner. We went to Ichiban, a Japanese Steakhouse. It was really good. I can't believe he is 14! They grow up so fast. It seems such a short time ago that he was a terrible two. On Sunday morning we had church and then mom had dinner at the house. We had a good time hanging out and then we watched the Masters--like we knew anything about golf, which we don't.
It's spring time and so Dusten has been working in the garden. He planted strawberries a couple of days ago, and is planning to do raspberries tonight. We went to the grocery store last night and the price of produce was through the roof! Of course, it's not really in season yet, but still a good reason to grow your own. Now if only I ate all the fruits and veggies he is planning on growing..blech..
I'm so glad spring is finally here. My daffodils are starting to bloom and my drive to work in the morning is starting to be in the light. It is also fun to watch the sunrise every morning. We also are getting ready to do a rummage sale. On Tuesday night we went through our basement full of stuff. We didn't find a whole lot that we wanted to sell, but a lot more that we through in the trash. I think it will be time to break out the spring clothes too. I was looking for something short sleeved to wear this morning and there were no choices. It's such a beautiful day today. It's been raining and cloudy for 3 days, and today it is sunny and beautiful. It's supposed to be a nice weekend.
I'm working on a post for Earth Day that I am getting excited about. I'm such a big tree hugger--so stay tuned for that.
I have pictures to add..will do that tonight..check back
Noah did make it into the world! He was born April 4 to our friends Ben and Jenny. Such a cutie.
