The Jokester

Dusten thinks he is so funny, and sometimes he actually is. You can decide for yourself on this one. I had about 10 minutes with Dusten after taking the pregnancy test on Saturday. When I got home from work I asked him if he was still in shock. (I was) He said that he hadn't thought about it all day (yea right). Then he told me that his mom saw the pregnancy test in the bathroom when she came over that day. I start freaking out, because I don't want to tell anyone right away. He said his mom came outside and said "what is that?" Dusten played the dumb card and moved on. He was working in the yard, so I didn't bother him with it at the time. I went inside and was laying on the couch, thinking that probably everyone in the family already knew. I almost called her! Luckily, I didn't because Dusten told me later that she didn't see it. He went to the bathroom right before she did and he moved it out of view. Whew! I was so nervous. We are waiting for Father's Day to break the news. Hopefully I can keep my mouth shut and come up with a creative way to break the news between now and then.

Later on Saturday night, Dusten said that he was excited and scared about having a baby. He said I caught him off guard, because I didn't tell him that I was going to take a test. He wasn't expecting it at all. He's got a lot of work ahead of him in the next 7.5 months. New furnace, air condidtioner, water heater, bathrooom in the basement and baby room. Busy Busy. Wanna come over and help?
