New Toys

For whatever reason Dusten and I have been on a bit of a spending spree lately. It started when we were on vacation. We went to Pentwater for the day and Dusten got lost in a kite store. By the end of the week we came home with 3 kites. We flew them once at Silver Lake and once since we've been home. We actually had better luck flying them in the field behind our house the other day. The wind was really strong and steady.

This is the kite I picked out. I couldn't find the other ones online.

Then we bought a new computer. It was mostly a birthday present, as I poured all my birthday money plus a little into it. My computer has been on the fritz lately as I'm sure you know, since I never can post pictures. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm getting excited.

Then we bought a new mattress. It was just delivered yesterday and it is wonderful. We upgraded to a queen and we don't even have sheets that fit it yet, but it is much better than Dusten's old mattress. It had recently become a bit of an emergency that we replace it. We spent about 4 hours laying on it in the store, and we even bought some new pillows. So if you come stay the night at our house now you will get to enjoy our new guest bed, and you will probably realize why we got a new mattress. =)
