What better way to celebrate the New Year -- and a new president (or anything for that matter) -- than by enjoying pie, that most American of desserts? Today is National Pie Day --and if you haven't enjoyed a slice since Thanksgiving, now's the perfect time.I loved Keri Russell as a pie-baking genius in "Waitress". And winter is a terrific time for pie: great apples still crowd the supermarkets, and there are always chocolate versions to try, too! If the cold weather is keeping you indoors, there's no better way to wile away a few hours.
What is your favorite kind of pie?
Mine is mom's strawberry/jello and pumpkin.

I did find the piece to that light!! Wes and I were so excited. So next time Dusten comes over he can almost break his neck trying to help Wes hang it!
