Vacation Rocks, Birthdays Suck

That's pretty much all I have to say. We had a great time at Silver Lake and I was able to keep my nausea to a minimum until I got home. Since then I have been miserable. I threw up my breakfast on my birthday and was miserable the whole day. The only bright spot was a surprise from one of my coworkers, Kim, who brought me a balloon and a birthday cake made out of two cupcakes decorated like a puppy dog. It was cute. I ate the whole thing, and I didn't share. Other than that it was pretty uneventful. Dusten didn't get me a darn thing. No gift, no card, nothing. He got up before me, and didn't make me breakfast or say Happy Birthday until I called him after work. But I'm not bitter. Not at all. I haven't thrown him a Birthday party every year or bought him Birthday gifts. I guess that was all in my imagination.
But when I get motivated. (If I get motivated) I will add some of our pictures from Silver Lake with more detail of what we did.

Just to be fair, she didn't want the gift I was going to get her and she didn't want to go out for dinner at one of her favorite restaurants when I asked her. I should have bought her a card but I didn't plan in time to get one since we got back from vacation the night before her birthday. I am an awful husband. But I'm not bitter, it's not like she holds my hand when I reach for hers or pushes me away when I try to give her a kiss.

I love her anyway.

Jamie says the correct response is, "No excuse, ma'am."

From now on you are limited to four responses:
"Yes, ma'am",
"No, ma'am",
"No excuse, ma'am", and
"Ma'am, I do not understand."

We're going army style.
