The zoo and a wedding

It's too hard to keep up with one blog let alone too. Sorry this one always takes the back seat. Maybe one day I will just merge them and have one. But anyway. We have had a few adventures the past couple weeks. Labor Day weekend we went down to Louisville to visit Casie, Dusten's sister. We had a fun time. She was probably bored out of her mind, but I loved being able to get some rest. We went to the zoo on Sunday. I had a lot of fun taking pictures. I was exhausted by the time we were done. It's a mile loop and tennis shoes only do so much. We ate at this really good restaurant called Buckhead. They had some amazing bread. I'm not sure if it's as good as Texas Roadhouse but it is a close contender. The butter was amazing. My dinner of course ended up being eaten as leftovers.
This past weekend we went to the the Haute. There was a Point of Grace/Mark Schultz concert on Friday night that my mom and I went to. I really had no interest in Mark Schultz, but he ended up being really funny. He kept telling all these stories about his wife who is an OB. I can't remember anything particularly funny, but I thought his humor was better than his music. The concert was good. Baby kicked for most of it. Hopefully she won't be deaf. Saturday Mom, Dusten and I went out to register at Babies R Us and it took forever. 2.5 hours is a lot for me. I was ready for a nap. Then we went to the mall and got a snack and some maternity pants. Then we headed home to get ready for Abbe's wedding. We had a good time and I got a chance to visit some people I haven't seen in a while--well more like years. Her cake was amazing. They were making fun of me because I picked the biggest piece I could find. All this was enough to make me ready to crash at like 8:30. It felt like midnight. On our way home on Sunday we took the scenic route. It was really nice and pretty--for a change. We managed to get all the way home without taking any interstate. We went to Plainfield to make a return before they closed and then stopped at Cracker Barrell for dinner. I love eating there so much more now that I'm pregnant. Comfort food I guess. It's that or pizza. Ummm corn... We decided to drop in on Wes and Stacy (Dusten refused to call) so we hung out for about an hour and then headed home. Needless to say I didn't get the sheets washed. But we had a good time. This weekend I pretty have to work. Friday 8-5 and Saturday 8-9. It's going to be crazy, so I'll probably crash on Sunday. Anyway everything else is just more of the same. Dusten begs me to get a kayak on almost a daily basis. I'm just thinking now is not the best time.... We'll see how it pans out. It may be a losing battle.
